In complement to the COVID-19 Narratives, Dr David Nabarro, Special Envoy of the World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General on COVID-19 and Co-Director of the Imperial College Institute of Global Health Innovation at the Imperial College London, is holding Open Online Briefings to answer further questions from the 4SD Academy and wider network.

The Open Online Briefings begin with an overview of the current situation and emerging issues followed by a Live Q&A.

We are pleased to announce that we will hold a fifth Series of Open Online Briefings with Dr David Nabarro from 27 August 2021.

The format will remain similar to the first three series with an introduction from David about the situation as he sees it unfolding from an interdisciplinary perspective. This will be followed by an interactive Q&A with the audience.

On 21 February 2020, Dr David Nabarro, Strategic Director of 4SD and Co-Director of the Imperial College Institute of Global Health Innovation at the Imperial College London, was appointed as one of six Special Envoys to the World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General on COVID-19. In this role, David provides strategic advice and high-level political advocacy and engagement in different parts of the world to help WHO coordinate the global response to the epidemic.
